Torin was brought up alone with his mother, Abigail, in Wilkommen until he was eighteen.  After he graduated from school, he received as a graduation present from his mother, the Serpentarius stone on a gold chain.  She told him his father, Rene, wanted him to have it when he could take care of himself.

After graduation, Torin stayed behind in Wilkommen helping his mother at home.  However wanderlust began to call him and when Torin turned 21, he asked his mother if he could join the Masonic Army.  Abigail reluctantly agreed.

After joining the military, Torin met Blake Ritts, and after going through Initial Training together, they became best friends and an unstoppable fighting team.  Ever since they met two years ago they have stayed together in every military training and education program until they graduated.

Now they are on their first real military operation guarding the eastern border of Masonite against attack from Sylvania.
