Blake has always loved magic ever since he first discovered it in his beginner military school.  His parents, residence of Center City, have been preparing him for a life in the Masonic Army, just as every third born son in their family has been. 

However, in the last year of Blakes wizard training, he learned he also loved something else-foreign and ancient languages.  He has been studying ancient tablets and glyphs in every book he could get his hands on. 

When he joined the Masonic Army, he surprised his family in specializing in languages and cryptography, rather than battle techniques and black magic.  They were not pleased with his decision, but they remained supportive.

Blake met Torin when he was nineteen and they surprisingly balance each other out.  Blake's realism in battle and Torin's optimism has made their judgment an unbeatable force in all training yet.

While Blake was studying the Glyphs at the Glyphic Temple, he was kidnapped and held hostage by Lord Camdor in exchange for the Serpentarius Stone.  When Torin refused to trade at Blake's request, Blake was murdered by Lord Camdor.
