St. Lucas Galvin was a pagan priest who worked for the Capital. While working for the pagans, he learned time magic, which he was taught was a gift from Chronos. He quickly realized the power of time magic when used in combination with white magic, increasing healing times and effectiveness.
One day while working the pagan clinic, St. Ajora entered the room with a crowd of followers and approached two lepers sleeping side by side. Lucas recognized St. Ajora as a Capital heretic and immediately approached him and told him to leave his clinic at once.
Ajora replied that he had come to inform him personally that God wanted his help in defeating Lucavi. Lucas refused and Ajora motioned to the two lepers. He asked him how long it would take to cure the leper on the left with haste and esuna. Lucas replied possibly two weeks to never. Ajora raised both of his hands and cured both lepers instantly. Ajora then said that God wanted him to have the same kind of power to aid him. Lucas, amazed at the miracle, bowed to Ajora and joined him immediately.
While fighting Lucavi, Lucas received the Gemini Stone and became a Zodiac Brave. After the battle, crucifixion, and ascension into heaven, Lucas was overcome with grief. He wanted to be in heaven with the one whom saved him from a life of darkness. He began to study his magic further and he discovered the spell "Float." He cast the spell on himself and ascended into heaven after St. Ajora.
St. Lucas is the only human ever to get to heaven without dying first.
